2010 to Present
I manage a team of User Experience Architects within the larger Global Site Design (GSD) team of Dell. I'm responsible for the direction and strategy for large dell.com initiatives (eDell, eSupport, Search, Dell Services). I also manage the development and ongoing maintenance of Dell's global pattern library: http://www.DellDesignLibrary.com. Finally I coordinate and oversee relationships between GSD and Dell's external agency partnerships.
2006 to Present
I am a freelance photographer specializing in portraits of families, children and various special events. While this initially started out as just a hobby, I have been published a number of times, and have been featured among my peers through organizations such as OneExposure and WeeklyShots. My hobby has taken me around the world and has provided a tremendous creative outlet for me.
2009 to 2010
I managed and advised on lighting, sound and special effects for this non-profit children's theater. My involvement with the playhouse was from its inception. I was involved in their inaugural season, leading set builds and technical direction of four separate productions. The playhouse was the first and only theater focused on teaching children the art of theater, and mentoring children in all aspects of stage productions.
2008 to 2010
Reporting to the Cheif Marketing Officer, I managed the day to day development, enhancements and maintenance of perotsystems.com and various other global web entities own by Perot Systems. I planned long term strategies for growth and evolution of Perot Systems' web presence. I delivered analytical data analysis and reports to support online marketing efforts. I supported the on-going online integration efforts between Dell and Perot Systems.
2008 to 2008
I Developed and managed repeatable user experience processes for Coremetric’s online analytics packages. I established a consistency of design and interaction between nearly a dozen disparate applications to form a cohesive suite offering. I worked closely with product management, product development and marketing to deliver custom interfaces for key customers.
2004 to 2008
I organically grew and managed a large team of 14 Information Architects primarily for Perot Systems' Healthcare Solution Development team. We were responsible for the User Interface design and general usability for all applications and web solutions provided by HSD to Perot Systems' health care clients: Tenet Healthcare, Catholic Healthcare West and others.
2002 to 2003

I Held various positions as a user experience and interface design consultant throughout the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex. I worked under contract for a number of large and medium sized businesses including Verizon, Kinkos, The Mind Electric and Encisive. My role was consistently involved with the design and creation of web based applications, training material and various marketing initiatives.
2001 to 2002

I was the sole user interface and front-end development resource for KSolutions, a knowledge management, custom software development company. We were a small organization of less than 70 people. The primary project I worked on was the Knowledge Management platform for mergers and acquisitions which was a CIO 100 honoree for innovation.
1999 to 2001

As an FET I lead small teams of front-end development resources on 2 very large, high-profile projects. First I helped to develope an online insurance management application for Hewitt Associates called Sageo.com. This was a nine month engagement from conception through to launch based in San Francisco, CA. Secondly I helped build a content rich ecommerce engine for Boots Pharmacy called wellbeing.com. This was a 4 month engagement based in London, UK.
